Sorry about the head line… just want to start with saying I LOVE TO WORKOUT!
There is different reasons for training. Some people train to look good. Others may exercise to feel better. Some people train because everybody else is doing it.
I of course train because I love training and if I didn’t have fun doing it, I probably wouldn’t spend so much time doing it as I do…
But training because it’s fun is not my “carrot”! My goal with the huge amount of hours I put towards training is not only for pleasure. My goals are super high and sometimes it’s not fun at all! But thinking about failing my goals is not an option. Not if I can choose.
Somtimes it feels hard to keep focused and sometimes the body is tired, stiff and sore. But most of the time I’m really excited about what a new week can bring to get me closer to my goals.
When I can feel and see the progess, when people around me point it out, when I get a new PR and raise the bar a little bit… that is absolutely priceless. That makes me feel powerful.
I think most people have power inside themselves to reach pretty much any goal, but sometimes the keys are missing to unlock the power. The mind sets a block on succeeding before even started.
In my book; no goal is too high. But one thing is for certain; you only live once… don’t be scared to chase!
