This year I have one training goal I just have to master and it’s to be able to do 2 muscle ups in a row (barbell and rings).
It might be simple for some but I really struggle with my muscle ups. It’s definitely not a matter of strength because I’m super strong in both strict pull ups and dips. It’s my timing that is off. I don’t connect my body right.
It’s very frustrating cause I’m close but not close enough!
Every day the last week I have been practicing my Muscle-Ups skills but without getting one all the way up.
The easy way out is to simply give up but I will keep on trying. I have a year to get it! Giving up is not going to score any new goals.
Practice makes perfect… I will get it! Well, It might not be in time for Crossfit Open workout 17.2 but it will definitely be for 18.1 that’s for sure!
