I think my body actually got a bit worn from the Crossfit Open workouts. It’s only one workout/ week in 5 weeks but I did many of them twice. Also doing them with 110% effort no matter what, really takes it out of you.
Something said klick in my neck yesterday and I needed to rest the whole day cause I was stiff as a stick in my neck. I still manage to hold my classes, but I hate to be semi-injured and resting.
I did think I would get some better scores but it’s very clear that those gymnastics skills like muscle ups and handstand pushups really isn’t my strong side and those moves pushed med down hundreds of spots! It’s ok, I have a very clear picture where I stand in the Crossfit world and that’s good. Next year I’ll be better!
Now I need to focus on my weak spots and better the gymnastic skills. I think I can better myself if I only stay injury free, train smart, focused and rest when my body needs a rest.
