Go hard or go home
To have a holiday is nice, very nice… easter, summer, christmas and so on… we meet up with family and friend and we socialize and we eat! But we tend to eat way to much of the wrong foods. It’s like abad habit from when we where kids. On holidays we binge eat bad foods and it’s ok cause it’s holiday? I don’t understand why we do it every time, cause after the holiday are over we get back to our normal routine feeling pretty shitty about ourself.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t have a feast now and then but sometimes people goes crazy! The amount of empty calories they stuff down their bodies under just a few days and then just sit around will of cause cause some discomfort when starting the training routine again.
But let’s say you feel like “binging” when you are free, turn it around and think of how you can use those extra calories? You have all of this energy in your body and this is a good opportunity to utilize it!
So if you have a week or two of work and you are eating a huge amount of extra calories, use it to something good! You can create absolutely crazy hard intensity when in the gym! You will have the energy to push yourself harder than when you have been at work all day and maybe skipped a meal cause you had to much to do.
I love food as well… and I love to eat, but I also I love the feeling of my heart almost bouncing out of my chest. I love when the shoulders gets so sore that I can’t lift my arms over my head or when my legs gets like big logs….
That’s when I feel alive! I can feel every cell in my body and my hole system working hard together as one unit.
With that said…. Eat, train hard or go home! 😉
