My secret little competition!
I’m a very competitive person and I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a very good looser. I have an urge to perform well, even if it’s the first time doing something. It’s nothing wrong in that because I usually do everything I can to better what I just failed at.
If I didn’t care about my loss I probably wouldn’t care about improving ether.

Every time I step inside the Crossfit box I have a quick look at the scores on the white board… If I see a good score I think; “That’s the time/score to beat!”

This forces me to be on top of my game and it’s good for my development. I love to push myself and having a target is good! Positive competition is good!
And then some 7 am chick with truly amazing scores was scribbled down on the board every single morning. For weeks I tried to beat her scores. It was my own little game but somehow that 7 am chick manage to stay on the top of the board.
But then it was a workout I really love doing, involving rowing and wallballs and power cleans…. Finally my score made it to the top of the board. It’s funny how the secret and silent little victory dance went off in my head ha, ha, ha….
