It’s suppose to hurt!
I was super sore in my lower back this morning. I guess most crossfitters got a sore back after the Open workout 17.1 and the 150 dumbbell snatches involved.
Since I wasn’t happy with my first score I went in to the box to redo the workout. I had to stretch and roll my back for an hour to be able to lift that dumbbell again. Regardless I did better my score with almost a minute and I’m happy for that! I pushed myself really hard and my whole body was in pure pain! But I didn’t stop… It is suppose to hurt! Crossfit is pain…in a fun way… ha, ha, ha


When I first submitted my score it placed me in top 20 in Australia and on place 150 in the world! And even if I know this would change once every one submitted their scores, it was still fun beeing in the top 200 for the day.
It is also a fun to watch all the scores coming up… but not as fun to watch my name dropping down the lead board.
This is my first year of Crossfit Open so I definitely don’t expect any top scores but I like to compete. For me it’s all about the game… to be in the moment and just push that little bit harder!

I guess many crossfitters gives up before they even have started, thinking they could never make good scores. Well we already know there is a lot of beasts out there BUT it’s more fun thinking you can do it rather than thinking you will fail.
