Unfair to be a woman
It’s not always easy being a woman… or actually it seems like it’s always harder to keep up when being a female.
As a group, women do not run, jump or swim as fast as men. Women are also more prone to certain types of athletic injuries than men.
Our bodies are more fragile and sensitive than a mans and that makes it sometimes hard to push our bodies as hard as a man can do.

Due to higher estrogen levels, women have more body fat than men. Men on the other hand have testosterone that makes them develop larger muscles as well as larger hearts. Men also have a larger proportion of Type 2 muscle fibers, which gives them generate power, strength and speed.

I hate being weak or feeling fatigue but just before and during my period I always feel weak and bloated. Every month I wonder why this or that feels so heavy and why I feel so blue…until I realize it’s soon that time of month. And if I have to perform well at this week of the month I will feel it’s unfair!
Of course don’t wish to be a man but it would surely benefit my training if I didn’t have those female hormones making a mess of my performance every month.
